Virtual Conference – FAQ


Do you have a question about the virtual conference? Please have a look at the most important information you should know about SICOGG 22 below.


Q: Will the virtual meeting take place at the same time as the previously announced Conference dates?

A: Yes and No. The main colloquium and workshops take place online on the same dates as originally scheduled, that is, on August 12-14, 2020, but the poster sessions take place from August 12 to August 21, 2020.


Q: What if I am not available during the Conference dates?

A: The content will be available on-demand for up to 3 months following the Conference dates, for all registered participants.


Q: How do I register for the virtual conference?

A: Registration is open at this link: http://2020.sicogg.or.kr/index.php/registration/
Registration is free.


Q: What do I need to attend the virtual Conference?

A: To attend the virtual conference, you need your device, a good internet connection, and free registration. Before the conference starts, you need to create a Webex and/or Zoom account(s) and learn the basic features of them. You must first download and install the Webex and/or Zoom client. If you use Webex, the URL and ID are as follows:

When you use Zoom, you will receive login details a few days prior to the meeting.


Q: Will full papers or video files be available?

A: Yes, at least for some of the papers. The full papers of the authors whose abstracts were accepted will be published in the digital proceedings that will be available to participants. The video files of many of the paper or poster presentations will be available in the SICOGG 22 website.


Q: I am a paper/poster presenter. What should I do?

A: Refer to the First Notice to the Presenters and Attendees under the menu bar “Program”.
