2. Proceedings Paper

We would like to ask you to submit your proceedings paper by July 31, 2020 so that it can be included in the Proceedings of the 22nd Seoul International Conference on Generative Grammar (Yes, it is before the conference, but it is necessary for us to do it this way.) Note that the maximum length of your draft should be 20 pages for oral presentations and 10 pages for poster presentations. Please submit your paper or poster by e-mail to the following address:

3. Oral presentations

Each presentation will be 20 minutes long with additional 10 minutes for discussion. To present your paper, a presenter is given the following two options:

Option #1

1) If you want to video-record your presentation in advance and upload it to the SICOGG 22 website so that conference participants can watch your pre-recorded video in advance or right before the designated discussion session, submit a pre-recorded video file of your paper to us at sicogg22@gmail.com, Instead of sending us the video file itself by e-mail, you may wish to attach the link of your video file to the e-mail above to allow us to upload your video file to the SICOGG 22 website in a simpler way, e.g., https://www.dropbox.com/s/25lkhq3zb71p5qd/SICOGG%2022%20Ryoichiro%20Kobayashi.mp4?dl=0. You may use You-tube to attach the link of your video file instead of dropbox. In fact, attaching the link to the e-mail is much preferred to sending your video file itself. The maximal length of your video file is 20 minutes: it can be shorter than 20 minutes. Your presentation should not exceed 20 minutes. The format of the video file should be .mp4 file. This format can incorporate Audio, Camera and Content Slides (PowerPoint) in a single file.

2) In addition to sending us your video file or the link, a presenter is supposed to have a discussion session for 10 minutes online live in real time using Cisco Webex Meetings or using the Zoom web conferencing platform. We will let the paper presenters and attendees know which one we are going to use, a few days prior to the meeting. Before the conference starts, you need to create a Webex and/or Zoom account(s) and learn the basic features of them. You must first download and install the Webex and/or Zoom client. If you use Webex, the URL and ID are as follows:

https://gnu20.webex.com/gnu20-ko/j.php?MTID=mfd1e4880140cb78a075e81e5a1138c45

Meeting Number: 166 053 3893
Password: Uw7wVQmt8d2

3) Submit your video file or link to us at sicogg22@gmail.com by 17:00, August 9, 2020, Korea Standard Time at the latest so that we can upload your video file to the SICOGG 22 website before the conference starts.

In order to present your paper online using Cisco Webex Meetings or the Zoom web conferencing platform, you need to create a Webex or Zoom account and learn the basic features before the conference starts.
